Are you an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who believes that their students deserve the very best education? Do you want to work with an innovative team of teachers who are passionate about teaching and delivering a stimulating and engaging curriculum which places students at the centre of the learning process?

We are looking for a Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities department. The Humanities department has been transformed over the last couple of years under new leadership and you would be joining an innovative team of teachers at an exciting time. The teaching and learning in Geography continues to improve rapidly, with students achieving success at both Key Stage 3 and in GCSE. In March 2017, OFSTED judged the school as ‘Good’ and we are now keen to build from this on our journey to outstanding.

Salterns Academy Trust is a learning community where every member of staff understands the difference they can make to our students’ outcomes. Salterns Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring checks along with other relevant employment checks
To apply please complete the application form that can be found on the website www.alns.co.uk and return it together with your letter of application to recruitment@alns.co.uk. Alternatively please contact Mrs Young at Admiral Lord Nelson School.
