PUPIL SUPPORT WORKER
Band 5
Required for an initial one year contract
Band 5 - £13,279 per annum (actual salary)
33.5 hours per week, term time only (8am-4pm Monday and Wednesday, 8am-3.15pm Tuesday and Thursday and 8am-3pm Friday).
We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Worker from September 2012 to help us to continue to offer outstanding care, guidance and support for our pupils. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who seek a challenge and who will have the opportunity to develop this successful role in the school.
The position involves working closely with a Year Leader and the pastoral team by supporting individual pupils to successfully access their curriculum, monitoring their progress and keeping in regular contact with their parents.
Applicants should be confident, articulate and with a strong personality to enable them to deal with pupils in a variety of situations. Being able to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff and pupils alike is essential. Full training will be given.
