PASTORAL SUPPORT OFFICER
Band 7
We are seeking a highly motivated person to work in a team committed to improvement. A large part of the role will involve monitoring and actively encouraging attendance.
The role will also involve assisting the Designated Officer for safeguarding children.
Previous expertise with those areas would therefore be an advantage.
The role will be 24.5 hours per week, term-time only, on band 7 of the pay scale. We envisage this consisting of two full days per week and three additional mornings, though there is some room for negotiation on this.
Copnor Junior is an exciting place to be. We were judged to be “outstanding” in 2011 and we are extremely proud of the culture we have built.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. CRB Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment.
Please phone 02392-661191, or visit us, to talk through the role in more detail with the head teacher. We have wonderful children and would like you to see them in action. Application packs can be downloaded from this website.
Closing date: Noon 5th July 2012
Interview Dates: 16th July 2012
