ASSISTANT CARETAKER

Band 3

Caretaker: 15 hours per week Required for 01/09/12
Scale 3

We are a large junior school of 420 children. The whole building and grounds were re-furbished in 1994 and have been carefully maintained since. They are in excellent condition.

We are seeking to appoint an assistant caretaker who will take a genuine pride in these by helping complete the daily routine tasks that make the school run well.

The timings of the hours are negotiable, though ideally we would like someone that could work three hours per day in the afternoons/early evening.

The team are supportive of each other and enjoy their roles. Copnor Junior is an exciting place to be. We were judged to be “outstanding” in 2011 and we are extremely proud of the culture we have built.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. CRB Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment.
