PUPIL SUPPORT MENTOR (KS4)

Band 6 (37hrs per week TTO) Fixed term contract until 31st August 2013

The Harbour School @ Fratton is looking to appoint a Pupil Support Mentor to start 1st September 2012.

This is a exciting opportunity to join a growing and developing team of mentors working with Year 10 and 11 learners at The Harbour School.

The successful candidate will key work a number of learners taking the lead role to support the learning, behaviour and attendance of learners who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.

Supporting learners at college and during practical offsite activities: delivery of PSHE, SEAL and work-related learning.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. CRB Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment.
